Kemi was working with a family as the house keeper. This family love her so much and tried their best to make her happy. She was passing through serious hard times before she met the family. But after she started working there, her condition changed for good.

She was always telling her friend of all the good things that the family were doing for her. she didn’t know that her friend was jealous.

On a particular evening, her friend came to her house to inform her of a family that needs her services.

“There is a family that needs a nanny. They are rich and also ready to pay you well. I decided to inform you.”

“Thank you so much. But I am not interested. My employers are treating me well. So, I will prefer to keep working for them. You are not working for now, why can’t you take up the job?” Kemi asked her.

“My dear, they needed someone that have been doing that kind of job. You know that I am child of God I couldn’t tell them lies. I begged them to consider me, but they refused.”

” I don’t need a change of job now,” Kemi said firmly.

“You surely need one. They are going to pay you triple of what you earning now. After three years, if you are no longer interested in working for them, they will establish a business of your choice for you.”

“Are you serious?”

“Of course. That was why I tried all I could to take the position. It didn’t just work out for me. I didn’t want to miss out completely, that’s was why I told them about you. They were happy when I told them that I was bringing you.”

“Okay, when are we going to see them?”

“We can’t go anywhere, until you have made up your mind to quit your present job. I have to be sure that you are ready to work before I take you to them. I don’t want to spoil my relationship with them,” her friend told her.

Kemi went to her employers to inform them that she was quiting the job. The husband and wife were shocked when they recieved the news. The thought of who would take care of their 9 months old baby devastated them. They tried their best to beg her not to go. They also promised to increase her salary but she refused.

The husband had to plead with the wife to quit her job and start up a business. Having agreed on that, the woman sent for her mother to help attend to the baby while she went through the process of resignation from her job.

They thanked Kemi and send her off with gifts. Afterwards, Kemi decided to meet her friend so they could go to the new place but she kept postponing it. Later she informed Kemi that another person had taken the job.

Kemi ran back to her former employers to see if the opportunity was still available. They informed her that they have already gotten a permanent solution.
