Negative Touch (Episode 19)
Mrs Ibukunoluwa Gad has been fasting and praying, for God to touch her husband to stop fighting the man of God. It’s seems there was no change but she didn’t know that God was working out the answers to her prayer.
Elder Gad was in the place of his business one morning when a man passed. All of a sudden, the man turned back and came to meet him. After the exchange of pleasantries, the man told him that he has a message from the Lord for him.
“It’s okay. I’m listening,” he answered nonchalantly.
“The Lord said that I should tell you to stop fighting your pastor.”
Elder Gad busted out laughing and the man was surprised. After he had his feel he sighed and looked away.
The man was surprised at his action.
“But sir, I just delivered a message to you. I’m surprised at your reaction.”
“Oh, you are surprised that I am not one of those people you can deceive. Where did you meet the Lord? Did you go to heaven or he came down to meet you. Now let me send you my own message. Go and tell that pastor that sent you, that I will continue fighting him. In fact he should brace up for the real fight.”
“It’s okay sir, unless the Lord did not send me.
If I truly heard from God, these two legs will not be able to carry you home, not to talk of standing to fight the servant of God. I have spoken.”
“Will you get out from my shop? Jobless human being. Go and collect another bribe from him to deliver message. It will soon purge you.” Elder Gad mocked the man of God.
Things continued moving smoothly after that encounter, business was moving and he was happily attending to his customers. One of the customers needed an item that was parked at the topmost part of the shelves. It was not a problem anyway because he had a wooden stool that he climbs on, to bring things down. Immediately he climbed on it and stretch out his hand to collect the items on the shelve, he felt a push and he landed on the floor.
“Ha! sorry o,” the woman pleaded. “Let me help you to get up.”
“Why did you push me” Elder Femi asked, as he was wriggling in pain. He was addressing the woman.
“I, push you? Why would I push you down?” the woman asked in an obvious angry tone.
“But you are the only one here and I sensed that I was pushed,” elder Femi answered her.
“You must be an unfortunate human being. Did I do wrong by deciding to patronize you? Whatever you are carrying, market will not buy it from you.” The woman started walking away.
“Where are you going to, come and help me to get up. I am in serious pain,” elder Femi pleaded.
“Go and tell the ancestors that pushed you down to help carry you up,” the woman told him and walked away.
“Help! Somebody please help me” He shouted in a voice fully ladened with pain.”
His neighbours heard his voice and rushed to his shop. They tried to make him stand on his feet but he couldn’t. His bones were broken.
“Please, run to my wife’s shop quickly and call her for me. I don’t understand what is happening to me.”
Mrs. Gad ran to the shop as quick as her legs could carry her and met her husband wriggling in pain.”
“What is the matter,” she asked in fear.
“My dear, I don’t understand. A woman came to purchase some items. I climbed with the stool to bring down the items. All of a sudden I felt someone push me and I landed on the floor. I thought that it was the woman, but she said that she did not touch me. Truly she never came close to me. It was after I felled that she ran to me. Please, take me to hospital I am feeling serious pain.”
